A Literary route for Teaching Literature. The example of Poema de Mío Cid.

    Abstract:
    A literary tour for Teaching Literature. The example of Poema de Mío Cid is a Degree Final Project which aims to innovate in methods of teaching literature. The content of this paper is organized in two distinct parts: the first, consists in a theoretical concepts and the second consists in the practical application thereof. Thus, the theory that is included here is related to the teaching of literature. In it we find everything pertaining to its history, key concepts, resources and also include a small reference to the literary education. Furthermore, this theoretical section consists of an approach to the epic genre but more specifically Poema de Mío Cid. A short analysis of the play, characters, techniques, themes, symbolism, among others are studied here. If we refer now to the practical part, in it is included a literary journey through the Aragonese geography accompanied by verses, by which we can do a good thorough tour of the Aragonese names. Moreover, the work ends with a proposal of didactic unit that seeks to accommodate all those disciplines which can encompass a work of literature. So, we pursue that Poema de Mío Cid is a medieval work continuously updated and interdisciplinary too.
