    Abstract:
Tourism is one of the main economic activities of Costa Dorada. This is a sector in constant evolution, therefore, companies and public administrations are constantly exposed to new challenges to adapt to a changing demand. The millennial generation is one of the most interesting profiles currently, young people between 18 and 38 who differ in many aspects of others the generations. These have always grown in a digital world, they are considered critical and participative consumers, they ask for a personalization of the services and they value positively the singular experiences. The main objective of this study is to find the characteristics of the millennial tourists who visit Costa Dorada, to detect if it is a potential market for the area and if there are significant differences between the general profile of the tourist who normally visit the area. On the other hand, the travel preferences and habits of millennials living in Costa Dorada will be considered. The main part of the study is based on the analysis of the results obtained from the selfprepared survey, these are based on a quantitative methodology. Given that both the characteristics of the emitting profile and those of the tourist receiving profile are sought, two different models have been made. These data will allow us to know the current situation of Costa Dorada in front of this generation.
