    Abstract:
Nowadays, the gold standard measurement to assess the level of lung failure in critically ill patients in the ICU is the respiratory SOFA score. This method is based on PaO2 measurements through its relationship with FiO2: the PaO2/FiO2 ratio. While FiO2 can be obtained non-invasively and at a high sampling rate, obtaining PaO2 is carried out by an invasive and punctual technique at a low sampling rate. This project aims to develop and evaluate a new non-invasive and high sampling rate score based on pulse oximeter oxygen saturation (SpO2) to assess lung injury for ventilated patients.
