Teacher stress and burnout: comparative study in rural and urban areas

  • Identification data

    Identifier:  TFG:6324
    Authors:  Queixalós Vela, Caty
    Abstract:
This TFG compares teacher stress and burnout in rural and urban areas. The hypothesis holds that urban teachers suffer more stress and burnout than rural teachers. The impact of the ratio of students and the number of subjects taught at these levels is also analyzed. The lack of resources to address the diversity of students is highlighted. The results indicate that urban teachers have more stress and burnout, but the general well-being and balance between personal and work life of rural teachers is highlighted.
