Abstract:
The advent of digital technology and with it the computerization and the world of personal computers, as well as the contribution of telecommunications to the diffusion and transport of information have led to changes in the process of recruitment and selection firms, Resources humans have suffered a break with the traditional process, opening many processes are performed remotely. These constant changes have made companies should be structured and reorganized to remain competitive in a global market, which is why this study presents the evolution of the processes of recruitment and selection in Repsol Petróleo Complex in Tarragona. In terms of legislation, we find little regulatory control on the one hand the employer has the right to select and hire, but is limited by the Spanish Constitution, various laws and collective agreements. On the other hand, the candidate meets the constitutional right to privacy, non-discrimination, protection of personal data, respect for the dignity and duty of good faith. The research process has focused on data collection through surveys over 10% of the total workforce, conducting interviews with personnel involved in Human Resources and analysis of corporate website of the company, all of them has resulted that the inclusion of new technologies has led to a decrease in the use of traditional channels in favor of new technologies, and its main source website attracting new professionals in their last 5 years, and its parent company image claim a very pronounced tendency in the delivery of CV telematics and so centralization process in order to homogenize.
