The inclusion of ASD students in the early childhood education classrooms of a Calafell school

    Abstract:
    This Final Degree Thesis aims to confirm whether or not there is inclusion of ASD students in Early Childhood Education classrooms, more specifically at a school in the municipality of Calafell (Tarragona). This is why the main objective to be achieved with this research is to study whether there is inclusion with this type of student, through the study of ASD cases. The methodological line that has been followed is of a mixed nature, since qualitative and quantitative instruments such as questionnaires, interviews and sociograms have been used, in order to obtain the results necessary to respond to the research. The results obtained verify that inclusion does exist within the school where the different cases have been studied, although the center's professionals and the families have made a negative assessment of one of the organizations, which also has a important role in the inclusion and therefore the integral development of ASD children.
