Abstract:
The aim of this project is to make an approach to the concept of labour relations within the cooperatives. To do so, it is based on the history of labour relations in general, which thoughts, ideologies and which economic forms have had an influence with the model of labour relations existing at each stage. A little bit more in depth with the subject, it is made an approach to the concept of the Third Sector and Social economy, where the cooperative model can be included. It has been made and analysis of the values, the principles and the purposes which distinguish the cooperatives with regard to any other commercial company. An empirical study of the cooperative Cerc,@ SCCL, approaches all these theoretical remaining to reality. It is analysed how all cooperative legal procedure is implemented and how are labour relations within their own cooperative managed. This view, from the more generic to the specific with the study of an existing and active cooperative, provides us with an idea and a broad knowledge of the situation, and therefore, we can conclude that the cooperative model has a wide range of possibilities within the competitive capitalist market in which we find ourselves today. It is a model compatible with capitalism and at the same time respectful with the individual and its labour relations, even he/she has the status of a partner, workermember or just worker of the cooperative.
