Abstract:
This work has different objectives, and the main is to understand in a general way that the term "Telework" refers to. On the other hand, I wish it was a way to introduce this employment relationship, which I think is very interesting and unknown. The first part of my work consists of an introduction to the history of teleworking, explaining where and what were the reasons that led to this modality. At the widest point of the work is the concept of teleworking and explanation of its development, where I will offer definitions of various authors, emphasizing the Jack Nilles definition, that he was creator of teleworking, then I will explaining the characterizing features of telework. Following the same point, I will do a description of the different modes presenting telecommuting, later we will see developed. Also, the advantages and disadvantages of telework for both the company and the employee will be developed. In the third paragraph, I'll do an analysis of the sectors that are more favorable to the introduction of telework as well as different areas of a company. At this point it is really where we can see telework applied to employment. In the fourth section, the existing regulations at European level and at Spanish level will be developed. The fifth section, I will discuss the issue of conciliation and teleworking and consider it one of the most important topics, since it is he that gave title to this thesis, and discuss how it affects teleworking in conciliation on family and labor life. Finally, in paragraph number six I have analyzed different collective agreements to try to find out the degree of implementation of teleworking in organizations, and the regulation thereof.
