    Abstract:
This research study is about quality, innovation and labour relations in the economic sectors of Spain. The motivation to undertake this study is the importance of quality management and innovation in an enterprise and the maintenance of a healthy labour relation system. Through a strategy of quantitative research based on secondary sources, the ISO 9001 certifications are related to variable working conditions, satisfaction and innovation in Spain, and particularly in Catalonia. The questions that lead to present this study try to clarify what working conditions have those companies that bet on quality management and innovation. The objectives of the study are to determine, investigate, analyse, understand and explain the relationship among quality, innovation and labour relations in the economic sectors of Spain, particularly in Catalonia. By analysing secondary data it is concluded that the management of quality and innovation are factors of leadership and competitiveness for companies in particular and society in general. Likewise, the study provides clear evidence of the importance of quality management and business innovation, thus providing a justification and specific knowledge of why to focus on quality and innovation in enterprises.
