    Abstract:
    Abstract The new technologies incorporation in our daily routine has generated notable changes in game format. Due to modern media, we have a new group of games for entertainment and learning: the video games. The video games incorporation in education helps us to integrate the school in this new digital environment, while offering education the chance to lead and make their students get into this tech tool. This tool is a way of learning, expression of feelings, transmission of values, a way of communication and a symbol of a new culture in our current digital society. Game-Based Learning (GBL) or educational gaming is the use of digital games with educational goals, using them as tools to support the learning process significantly. The aim of this project is analyze and understand this game model through a first phase of approach to the concept of the game, pedagogical and psychological approaches; the game as teaching-learning activity where the goal relies in identify which are the educational value of video games, and provide resources and innovative strategies to introduce their use in the classroom.
