    Abstract:
The title chosen for the final degree project is “E-commerce analysis of a textile sector company” because electronic commerce is a very common practice where Internet and other technological means have revolutionized the traditional way of commerce and more and more people dare to make online purchases. The main goals of this final degree project are to know the advantages and disadvantages of the e-commerce compared to the traditional commerce, to analyse the operation of an e-commerce company, and also to investigate the business environment and its competitors and to know the different strategies that are used. For making this project there have been consulted several information sources such as books, articles, websites, blogs and databases, where both qualitative and quantitative data have been extracted. After making the project, the most outstanding conclusions obtained are that e-commerce offers a lot more advantages than disadvantages if we compare it to the traditional commerce. In the textile sector there are loads of competitors and that is why the companies must seek differentiation. A good web design is necessary so the user can navigate through the web easily, and also using online tools to measure its behaviour. Social networks take more and more importance every day as a channel of communication and sales. It is also essential to invest in security and to offer many payment methods.
