    Abstract:
    The main objective of this project is to ascertain up to what point we can speak about gender equality in a company and to find out which are the causes that cause inequality, in case that the stated point was true. The first part of the study examines gender differences that women can experience in a company when they want to be promoted to a higher position, as well as its evolution through the years. Once this part is over, the next step is to study real cases of successful famous women that have achieved a position of responsibility in a company, which conditions they have achieved it and which are the differences between them. To conclude, equality between women and men is wanted to be accomplished, although it hasn’t been done yet.
