    Abstract: The Universitat Rovira i Virgili provides training for research staff through the Learning and Research Resources Centre in the three key areas of Open Science: open access publishing, research data management and the development of data management plans. Prior to the pandemic, this training was face-to-face. With the intention of improving the attrition rate and the low ratio, it was proposed to virtualise the training, but the pandemic arrived and it had to be adapted to virtuality without taking into account the technopedagogical design. This paper presents the process of conversion from face-to-face training to asynchronous virtual training in the field of research data management and data management plan of open science. The methodology of Design-Based Research has been followed. For this purpose, the ADDIE instructional model was taken into account, considering aspects of accessibility and usability in the design. The sample consisted of 37 participants who gave a positive evaluation of the training and the materials. At a general level, improvements are obtained in the dropout rate and the participation ratio.
