    Elena Pintaluba Sans Improvement of dust extraction system in a Food Industry Final Master's Project Adviser: Mrs. Sara Gimeno Vila Adviser: Dr. Luis Guasch Pesquer Master’s Degree in Industrial Engineering Summary The study proposes the design of a display system in real time to minimize dust in an industrial process in the food sector, which is the main cause of damage to plant and poor product quality. This system should allow acquisition of data provided by the measuring equipment currently present in the industrial process, its treatment and subsequent representation by an application, which must be able to be interpreted by any member of the company. Through various quality tools and continuous improvement such as the PDCA cycle, process control charts or FMEA, the impact that is generated on the dust extraction system, and consequently the quality of the product when implementing the application is assessed.
