Digital Competence Teacher and the use of the Digital Technology in the Institut d'Almenar to design the secondary school’s digital strategy. Study of case.

    Abstract:
    The Instituto d'Almenar, within the framework of the digital transformation promoted by the Department of Education of the Generalitat of Catalonia, seeks to develop a Center Digital Strategy (EDC). To do this, it evaluates Teaching Digital Competence (CDD) and the use of Digital Technology (TD). The study is based on the COMDID-A instrument and interviews with EDC management and commission. The results indicate that the teachers have a medium-expert level of CDD without significant correlation with sociodemographic factors. Furthermore, it is revealed that TD is used mainly at the substitution level according to the SAMR model. The importance of continuous training and resources for the integration of TD is highlighted.
