    Abstract:
The importance of adopting new educational methodologies is debated, given the need for approaches that align with 21st-century demands. This study examines the impact of Project-Based Learning (PBL) on students' writing skills and motivation. Using a quasi-experimental non-equivalent design, 52 students from two 3rd ESO classrooms at ABC School were assessed. The treatment group employed PBL to learn about advertising material, while the control group used traditional lecture-based instruction. Pretest and posttest data, analyzed via t-tests using JASP software, show that PBL does not significantly outperform traditional methods in learning outcomes but is equally effective and enhances student motivation.
