    Abstract: This project addresses the common challenges faced by companies: improving productivity, efficiency, and sustainability while reducing operational costs. To achieve these goals, two key strategies were implemented: applying different lean manufacturing measures to optimise processes and conducting a thorough water balance analysis to identify opportunities for reuse or reduction. Process optimisation was then analysed using the company’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to assess tangible benefits. For water management, a recovery system has been proposed for short-term implementation. The project concludes with a complete analysis of results and outlines potential chances for future research.
