    Abstract:
    The study investigates the sustainability and economic viability of electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, crucial in the era of renewable energy and EV adoption. Analyzing four scenarios using HOMER Grid® software, the research explores combinations of renewable sources, energy storage, and grid reliance. Results highlight the environmental and economic advantages of incorporating renewables, showcasing reduced carbon emissions and enhanced financial efficiency. Thorough operational and financial assessments reveal that integrating photovoltaic systems and energy storage yields superior outcomes. The findings advocate for a sustainable and economically sound approach to EV charging infrastructure, offering crucial insights for policymakers and stakeholders in the evolving electric mobility landscape.
