    Abstract:
Communicative competence has become one of ultimate tool to make both teenagers and young adults learn, especially by developing critical and social thinking abilities while they evolve in each of their fields of study. This project aims to use journalistic genres as the engine which will link social competence and both oral and written competences together. By taking a theme which intends to validate different versions as well as facts about social reality, it is our intention to work so that teenagers aged 12-16 are able to develop a critical perspective on topics such as sexism, racism or economic inequality, while they learn that specific curricular knowledge which is supposed to be learnt, in this case, during 3rd of E.S.O. In order to do that, this project brings up the theoretical base that reflects on the natural, educational changes that have led education to intercede through verbal communication, together with those particular contents which are discussed throughout didactic units. Not only that, didactic tools are also discussed in it (ranging from cooperative groups to heterogeneous evaluations). These types of activities aim at empowering interaction between learners so as to strengthen conversational skills on such already mentioned individuals.
