Abstract: The TFM Project was realized in the framework of the internship at Turisme de Barcelona and was aimed at discovering the gastronomical offer of the city. More specifically, it had the objective of finding out the supply in the sector of gastronomic walking tours only in the city of Barcelona (not including the surrounding areas). The data was collected through various websites and the final database contained full information about the tours: tour provider, price, location, duration etc. As the result of the research it turned out that there were 236 tours at the moment which were then classified in various subcategories based on their specialty (historic, cooking, family etc.). Both quantitative and qualitative analyses were conducted to interpret the results and draw insights. Together with the database and the analysis a list of suggestions was given as a final report to Turisme de Barcelona. The research was conducted within the interest of TdB to launch a similar product. However, further studies are required in order to better understand the demand of the market and hence to be able to create a tour with a higher added value.
