Title in different languages: The usage of Rory's Story Cubes for the retention of English irregular verbs in Spanish L1 primary students
Abstract: This research study explores the effectiveness of using Rory’s Story Cubes to retain English irregular verbs in Spanish L1 primary students. It was conducted in a private school from Salou. The sample consisted of a total of 43 primary students. Data was collected through a pre-test, post-test and delayed post-test. Findings from the Paired T-Test showed a higher statistical significance in the experimental group. However, results from the Two-Sample T-Tests showed statistical significance only in the delayed post-test. Therefore, the researcher concludes that using Rory’s Story Cubes can help Spanish L1 primary students in their long-term retention of irregular verbs.
